For us here at Rainbow Chan Weddings, one of the top wedding planners and coordinators in Toronto, the story of two people meeting each other through the trials of life, finding love, and growing alongside each other through their lives is one of our most favoured storylines. Between the first smile, the first words, and the first date, to the minutes before the walk down the aisle and a beautiful life ahead, such beautiful tales are sure to warm the hearts of anyone. So it’s not at all surprising that our planners and coordinators take the task of crafting and preparing a perfect couple’s wedding day with paramount seriousness and sincerity. After all, watching such magical memories create themselves before our eyes is what makes planning and coordinating a wedding day truly worthwhile. One such magical story is that of Jasmine & Mark, a lovely Filipino couple whose wedding day just this past August 26th, 2017 in an unbelievably breathtaking and unforgettable ceremony taking place at Scarborough’s Price of Peace Parish, followed by a beautiful bridal party photo session at the historic Unionville Main Street, and a perfect dinner reception to close the evening at one of our planners and coordinators’ favorite venues, the Chateau Le Jardin Event Venue in Vaughan. So join us as we fondly recall the many special memories our planners and coordinators had made along the way with Jasmine & Mark on their unforgettable Filipino wedding. With a brief review of Jasmine & Mark’s excellent venue choices, and a stylistic summary of our designers’ choices in planning and coordinating Jasmine & Mark’s perfect wedding day, and what made our contribution to the couple’s wonderful Filipino wedding a truly magical experience.

From the standpoint of wedding planning and coordinating, Jasmine & Mark’s wedding day was particularly hectic. Between the first minutes of the day to the final moments of the evening, all the excitement and emotion of a wedding day wrapped up to create a beautiful memory for Jasmine & Mark, every moment of planning and coordinating would be special for us. We were quite pleased with the morning’s preparations, creating the contrast between bride and groom, and documenting the joy in everyone’s faces. For planning and coordinating, having our team be one step ahead along the sequence from the bride and groom’s beginnings to the walk down the aisle and the celebration would be a genuinely fulfilling task; as our planners and coordinators had taken the time to arrange the floral display, bouquets, backdrop and all at the reception in between assisting the bridal party through each stage of the wedding day. Including the traditional Filipino wedding ceremony, involving three parts of a candle ceremony, veil ceremony and coin ceremony. And for what was a spectacularly sunny summer day in August, the love and heartfelt emotional scenes shared with us by Jasmine & Mark on their special day was what made all the difference for our planners and coordinators. Indeed, from the couple’s candid bridal photos to an immaculate wedding ceremony, and the sharing of vows to usher in a beautiful life together, we hope that our assistance along the way made Jasmine & Mark’s wedding day ever-the-more special for such a loving and caring couple.
For Jasmine & Mark’s choice of wedding day venues and stops, the couple had chosen the familiar Prince of Peace Parish in Scarborough for their ceremony; not too far at all from both bride & groom’s respective households. A gorgeously lit and modern place of worship, Prince of Peace Parish was an excellent destination for the couple’s ceremony, and a pleasure for our planners and coordinators to work with. To follow, Jasmine & Mark had chosen the historic Unionville Main Street for the interlude between ceremony and celebration; a time for bridal party snapshots and memory-making alongside our planners and coordinators. Trailing through the historical suburb of Unionville, the main street offers a historic atmosphere to days since 1794, when the city itself had been founded. And with a full bridal party of bridesmaids and groomsmen on hand, Jasmine & Mark rang in the historical event in truly historical fashion. And finally, for the newlyweds’ reception and celebration to close the evening, Jasmine & Mark held their inaugural wedding feast at a favourite of our planners and coordinators, the Chateau Le Jardin Event Venue in Vaughan. With a breathtaking and spacious ballroom stage, and an elegantly arranged Filipino wedding celebration setup to greet the guests, such a perfectly set canvas was a treat for our planners and coordinators, to create an absolutely majestic experience for Jasmine & Mark on their most special of days.
On to our stylistic choices for Jasmine & Mark’s wedding day. Our planners and coordinators’ overall stylistic choice for Jasmine & Mark would be based on the goal of simplicity coupled with playfulness; an elegant and eclectic mixture of styles. Choosing the ever-trendy colour palette of lily white, lavender, demure tones of grey, and hints of indigo strewn about to keep things interesting, Jasmine & Mark’s style accented what’s both chic and sensible. Employing lily white as an overarching motif by our planners and coordinators, and the use of multicoloured bouquets of carnation pink and lavender helped keep the overall aesthetic of the couple’s Filipino wedding pristine yet playful; with liveliness and energy bringing the theme to life through the celebrants and the newlywed couple’s unyielding liveliness all throughout the day. Both simple and modern, yet playful in essence and lively in practice; Jasmine & Mark’s wedding day style was an absolute delight to help craft and create!
And with that, we here at Rainbow Chan Weddings and Events, Toronto’s premier wedding planners and coordinators, had an absolutely spectacular time working with Jasmine & Mark on their unforgettable wedding day. Our planners and coordinators were sincerely humbled to have had the opportunity to play a prime role in creating and crafting Jasmine & Mark’s truly special day, and the chance to make such a day even more special through their work was a true honour. In the end, we here at Rainbow Chan Weddings and Events wish Jasmine & Mark all the very best in their newfound lives together, and hope that our work with them on their wondrous wedding day will always be a source of inspiration and happiness all throughout their lives.
