The classically stunning architecture and Italian scenery of Castello di Bibbione created the dreamiest of backdrops for our Old World Villa themed shoot. This historic venue set in the heart of picturesque Tuscany tied in flawlessly with the neutral palettes and old world charm aesthetic that pairs so effortlessly with this theme. The storybook-worthy terrace played host to our tablescape; which carefully paired modern with traditional, minimalist with more ornate. The table’s clean lines pair unexpectedly with the white and wicker Louis style chairs, offering a dynamic and compelling combination. Organic style, mostly neutral florals from Jardin Divers pull the warm tones into the cement-coloured table. Candlesticks, elegant blush napkins and crystal stemware from Roland’s add a little extra dimension. And the overall look is completed by beautiful stationary from Ivory and Twine Co.
The venue, Castello di Bibbione is truly one of the most remarkable and historic places that has played host to a Rainbow Chan styled shoot. The original foundations of the building pre-date the year 1000. First used for defense of the surrounding territory, and eventually converted to a country residence, this building comes with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a millennium old Italian fortress, including secret passageways. Today, the estate serves as an events venue, hotel and spa.
The two stunning gowns from Pearl Bridal fit seamlessly into the effortlessly beautiful aesthetic of this shoot. We knew we needed summery, easy to wear looks. The approach to the hair and makeup was the same – Consuelo Cardella created beachy waves, a low maintenance up-do and understated makeup that accentuated Martina’s naturally lovely features. Cynthia Findley’s rings finished off this wedding look and provided material for some beautiful detail and styling shots.
The history, architecture and jaw-dropping natural beauty of this venue paired with the Rainbow Chan team’s styling touches make this entire wedding aesthetic so effortlessly and naturally beautiful. It was a pleasure to work on such a unique shoot, and we hope it inspires any of our lovely brides to explore all of the wonderful destination options available to them through the Rainbow Chan Weddings team!
